Sydney Young Photography is ran by, you guessed it... Sydney Young! That's me in the picture! I am 22 years old and currently live in Evansville, Indiana. I have been taking photos for 8 years, and I just graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Photography from the University of Southern Indiana. I enjoy spending time with friends, playing with my two dogs, and of course taking all different types of photos! I hope we can meet soon :)
My work explores storytelling through documentary, portrait, sports, and studio photography. I have experience photographing seniors and families, as well as creating long-term photo series that document people, places, and moments over weeks or months. I’ve also participated in a photojournalism workshop, strengthening my approach to observation, storytelling, and authentic visual narratives.
At Sydney Young Photography, my mission is to create timeless images that capture the realness of my subjects. I strive to provide a personalized and enjoyable experience that exceeds my clients' expectations.
I believe that the best photos are created when there is a connection between the photographer and the subject. That's why I take the time to get to know my clients and understand their vision and who they are before I start shooting.
